Lord Bethel apparently managed to recover at least one message from his phone regarding this. They are fighting like rats in a sack.

Ah! t'were the Stanleys, not that they were corrupt, they couldn't deliver and paid back the advance, but the manner in which they paid the Tory party £5 000, then set up a company and then received millions from Nooky Hancock whose constituency covers Newmarket Racecourse which is owned by the Jockey Club in which the Stanleys have/had a prominent interest. I think that's it. Summaries here and here.

Heh! Just like old times.
No really And I'm repeating myselfview topic Funny how some things nag at you ent it?
Anyway, from there a summary by LBD (what hap't to them, we don't seem to hear so much from them these days) which includes Nick Hancocks pub landlord who got a contract for stuff and a couple of others too.

That's it. Back to the topic. It was nagging at me that's all,

She’s now having a go at Rishi Sunak

I’ve her looked at her Wikipedia page before but it’s quite something. This isn’t her first rodeo. In fact I am surprised to find she doesnt have a financial scandal connected with a rodeo company she set up before it went bust in suspicious circumstances

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michelle_ ... oness_Mone
This probably makes me an awful person, but I would not be at all surprised if the stories of her tough childhood have not been somewhat embellished.

Seems entirely in keeping with the institution of the Lord's. Both in its current form and in fact every century since it was formed.
