Local variant-covid-positive-St. Morontz-hotel-waiter moron gets home via three trains and a taxi and a very short while later the police get to his house too

Seriously, St. Moritz was only still open because the Swiss are basically the MAGAs of Europe.

Have I mentioned that the province of Bolzano is an autonomous region (South Tyrol), which means that while the national Italian government has decided they should be a Red zone, it's the region themselves that write the rules for whatever zone they're in, and they've decided that the Red zone rules should be nah fuckit and leave everything open?

Why do these dipshits post it on social media?

You don't catch me sticking all the illegal stuff I get up to on my insta stories.

How many waves are we up to now? Cos someone on that there friendface thingy said the next one would be the fourth. This is still the second-ish isn't it? I mean, we didn't really stomp out the first wave, did we? Shouldn't the virus go away for a bit before there's technically a new wave? It was definitely still knocking about in summer.

Some more dipshits, this time in Zurich: with all the bars shut they had their party on a train.

Can't find that story in anything other than Italian at the moment though.

That reminds me - the Germans had an experiment last year. I never did remember to check back for the results. Pre-print here: https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101 ... 1.full.pdf which I haven't read yet.

These experiments are rather disappointing - though not unexpectedly. They are measurements of human behaviour and tests of modelling ventilation. Presumably due to the ethical implications, they do not measure any actual transmission of viruses.
