It may also be about the Senate elections. McConnell has been distancing himself from Trump on the WH Covid cluster(f.ck). Is this Pelosi move part of a strategy to make sure Senate Repubs stay lashed to the mast of the sinking ship?

Trump handed her a massive gift today by saying he wanted a bigger stimulus deal than the House bill. Which was reduced to try and get the Senate to even consider it.

Ha, Pelosi has said Trump is in an "altered state of mind" due to the drugs.

Trump [...] plans to appear on Fox News Friday night for a medical “evaluation” on Tucker Carlson’s TV show — in what will likely be among the most watched tele-health session in history.

The script writers really have jumped the shark with this move.

It's about the lame duck period more than the election, I think.
Ah, that makes sense. Get the nuclear codes out of Trump's hands, plus Pence gets to tell his grandkids he was President of the Goddamn Yoonited States, if only for two months.

Suggestion that Trump had Covid for a while before it was announced. If so he did a masterful job of hiding it during the debate. Maybe all the amphetamines were responsible for the interruptions.

I doubt it will come to much, but the 25th amendment definitely needs to be used right the f.ck now.
Even Hannity didn’t know what the f.ck was going on here:
"California is gonna have to ration water. You wanna know why? Because they send millions of gallons of water out to sea, out to the Pacific. Because they want to take care of certain little tiny fish, that aren't doing very well without water."
"Number one, [California] should let water come down from the north, and accept it instead of throwing it out to the Pacific. But you always have to have forest management"
Sounds like Trump has just discovered the concept of 'rivers', and doesn't like what he's hearing.

They are being very cagey about when he last tested negative too. It's possible they either knew or suspected they had an outbreak within the White House including Trump himself well before the debate with Biden, and possibly before the Supreme Court announcement.

That would correlate with the reports of the entire Trump team turning up at the debate location too late to be tested and getting in by saying "We don't have Covid, scout's honour"

Am I straying into tinfoil hat territory, that wondering if they knew and decided to actually see if they could get Biden's camp infected (and Harris via Pence if he's ill)

This whole Administration and Campaign is all about stupid conspiracy tricks. So what would normally be tinfoil hat territory is entirely plausible if it just involves the campaign and White House.

For a man who's so healthy for some reason has flesh-coloured bandages on his right hand.

He's allowed to have a band aid. He's been ill.

But surprised they spiked him in the hand. That can leave painful bruising, particularly in the elderly. They're supposed to stick those thing in the arm.

So will the Remdesivir, I think.

The "fever free for over 24 hours" thing might be admitting a recent fever, but it might also just be chosen as a phrasing because fever free is part of the CDC criteria for disease free; "he ticks that box", so to speak.

Hard to say, when one cannot trust a damn thing they say.

This is an interesting article https://www.nytimes.com/2020/10/10/us/p ... virus.html
In several phone calls last weekend from the presidential suite at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Mr. Trump shared an idea he was considering: When he left the hospital, he wanted to appear frail at first when people saw him, according to people with knowledge of the conversations. But underneath his button-down dress shirt, he would wear a Superman T-shirt, which he would reveal as a symbol of strength when he ripped open the top layer. He ultimately did not go ahead with the stunt.

He should've gone as Willy Wonka and done a somersault.

Reducing fever is also a direct effect of the steroids he was given. Whether he's fever free because they aren't ramping his dose down is an open question.

What are the consequences if you stay on these steroids?
