Great speech. Two great speeches.

I loved the way they both were so dismissive of Trump, treating him as not worthy of much comment.

This is an email a Facebook friend received from the Trump campaign yesterday.

Bonkers. They have no idea how to campaign against them.

Also...they’re career politicians that love anarchy? Anarchy seems like a poor policy stance for a career politician.
Surely America being for sale would be the most anticommunist thing imaginable?

This all reminds me a bit of the run up to the semi-phony Thai election last year. In the run up various establishment figures, including the army chief, were very concerned about the communist tendencies of the opposition. The opposition being mainly various parties affiliated with billionaire businessman Thaksin Shinawatra, and the new Future Forward party (now forcibly dissolved) headed by another extremely wealthy businessman, Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit.

Some promising stuff from Harris on the climate change front: she's been teaming up with AOC to work on a bill to promote climate and environmental justice - ie, aiming to protect disadvantaged communities from impacts not only of environmental damage, but also from the much-needed transition to a more sustainable economy.

We have the right to a clean, healthy, sustainable environment.
