So, OANN - what is it?
I'm probably late to the party, but I've just seen my first clips of OAN news and I swear to god they're all on the break of cracking up. Is it art?
Like, if they turn out to be minor SNL actors using deepfake technology to disguise themselves, film themselves infiltrating respectable institutions by acting with infra-Borat levels of transparent satiricism, and go on to release a lengthy Netflix (or Vice) series of their backstage antics, I wouldn't even be interested. Like, obviously. Yawn. Doesn't break the skin on 2020 custard.
I thought Fox News was satire too, before I moved to the states. I'd only seen the Fox logo at the end of The Simpsons, and thought it was heavy-handed satire that was too Americanly stupid to land on my sophisticated British palate. Turns out they're really like that. #notallmerkins
