Hope they’ve insisted on proper tests.

Yeah. Even Trump's campaign are admitting he wasn't tested as often as they claim, and I think it's quite likely he could have been infectious at the debate, given that there is a cluster now in the staff that ran it.

Do these f.ckers think ignoring the debate rules means they are winning, or something?

Pretty sure that's how rich people think, yes.

Following this second hand, but seems clear Pence didn't commit to a peaceful transition of power either.

And he's the one who's supposed to translate Trump's outbursts into something suitable for polite society. This is not great.

CNN Snap Poll had Harris winning by 21pts, whereas last time Pence beat Kaine by 6pts in the same poll

So what now? What would you replace Trump with as a no-show?

An orange jabba the hutt toy?
One of those rocking, cackling clowns?
A trombone sound effect inside a rancid pumpkin?

Leave trombones out of this.

Besides, a sousaphone would be far more appropriate.

Here is the Washington Post -march by Sousa. I don't see a Sousaphone on the video but more than one trombone.

Trump may not appreciate being represented by the WaPo in any form or tune but let that be his own problem.

A can of Easy Cheese and a heat lamp would be better. When the can gets hot enough it'll explode, covering everything in cheese product. A perfect metaphor for Trump IMO.

As a serious answer, a video shot of an empty chair. Make it a chair that’s in the White House. Or of the podium in the press briefing room.

Or a golf course ....

Or a Russian hotel bedroom with suspiciously damp bed ...

He was replaced by a small tub of lard. You'll have to ask HIGNFY whether it was rancid or not.

Fair point, after 20+ years, I imagine it's gone way past rancid.

Speaking of debates, the South Carolina debate has been cancelled after Lindsey Graham refused a COVID test - gambling with everyone's health to try and maintain a senate majority is exactly the sort of despicable sh.t we are used to from Lindsey Graham.
