Cyber attacks

Post by AMS » Mon Oct 19, 2020 9:03 pm

Reports today that Russia was gearing up to cyber attacking the Tokyo Olympics, until SARS-CoV-2 came up with a far more effective way of non-cyber attacking a major international sporting event.

But what I really don't get is why.

Meta? I'd say so!

Remember all the Russians banned from the Olympics because of doping?

That's rather petty. Also, hardly the way to regain people's trust.

I mean, we're talking about a regime that poisons exiled dissidents with radioactive teapots and nerve agents on door handles. Petty and untrustworthy is par for the course.
We have the right to a clean, healthy, sustainable environment.

All Putin cares about is making sure people regret crossing him.
And remember that if you botch the exit, the carnival of reaction may be coming to a town near you.
