Court records indicate the research at Glenwood is now being investigated by the U.S. Department of Justice, Iowa Board of Medicine and the Iowa Department of Public Safety’s Division of Criminal Investigation.
No surprise there.

Academics sometimes get irritated be the need to get approval for research ethics. This shows why it’s needed.

It makes you wonder why anyone thought it was a good idea* in the first place as at even a moment's glance it seems highly troubling from beginning to end.

*Assuming of course there was ever some kernel of good intentions there, rather than malicious motivations (financial, sexual, ego) from the get go. :|
