Correct. Or, if you're me, you ordered a 7kg turkey three months ago and now are going to have to eat a 7kg turkey in a household of 2 people.
Have you not heard of turkey sandwiches, turkey risotto, turkey curry, turkey stroganoff, ham and turkey pie, etc?
Turkey enchiladas, turkey tamales.
And of course, stock made from the bones.

Don't worry everyone Johnson is about to address the nation, I imagine having him on the telly telling everyone to not to PANIC, PANIC, PANIC NOW, QUICK PANIC, will have exactly the expected effect. Oh goody.

And to just ensure the public are full of warm feelings for our dear Grinch the bugger is late once again for his announcement, because clearly he's got better things to do, that always gets everyone on side.
This place is not a place of honor, no highly esteemed deed is commemorated here, nothing valued is here.
What is here was dangerous and repulsive to us.
This place is best shunned and left uninhabited.

Quite disappointing in my local Sainsburys, I was looking forward to watching the life-or-death struggle over the last parsnip but no, everything still in stock.
I would let you have the last parsnip, no worries

I have shopping delivery tomorrow (was already booked, as a dedicated agoraphobe, i have some priority thing for delivery slots), so we shall see what arrives.

I had slowly accrued a small stockpile anyway (mostly for brexit, but it proved somewhat useful with the loo roll/pasta/beans shortages at the beginning of the year). I don't have the freezer space to allow me to freeze lots of things, but i do have some tins and pasta and stuff. Hopefully i'll survive for a bit.
