Are any woods in Scotland moving against him yet?

I've worked out a way Trump can stay in power using terrorism.

Sea shanties.

The Proud Boys and Oath Keepers have been practising sea shanties.

If we don't agree to shoot Biden, Pelosi, AOC etc by Jan 20th, they will start singing.

There's already been a couple of minor test runs that have left me traumatised.

If they start a full on campaign of sea shanties against innocent civilians, I'll fold. Let Trump have another 4 years. It can't be any worse.

Sea f.cking shanties. f.ck f.ck f.ck. It's gonna be bad.

Back when I lived in Winchester, my local pub did an open mic night every Monday.

Mainly it's local kids and uni students developing their talents, but there's also a middle aged bloke who regularly sings sea shanties.

I never suspected him of being a far-right Pride Boy attempting to incite a coup. Until now.

As an aside, it is absolutely fascinating to see what happens when morons self-organise. This is the first time in human history that the technology has been there to allow this to happen on such a scale - however I'm sure there are lots of historical examples of less influential moroganisations.

I'm not worried, they haven't yet deployed the WMD: Morris dancing.

Around here all men of military service age keep at home an Stgw 90 and a pair of noise cancelling headphones. It's not such a bad idea.

Oh no.

Trump's original doctor, Harold Bornstein, has died. He was the best doctor. He wrote the best letters.

Amazing what competent lawyers with a strong case can accomplish.

As opposed to deluded, incompetent lawyers with no case at all.

Their lawsuit against Rudy Giuliani’s star witness Melissa Carone was so scary she ran all the way to the Capitol

Also looks like Rudy accidentally tweeted something incriminating himself which he deleted

More fun and games.

An associate of Rudy Giuliani told a former CIA officer that a Trump pardon would 'cost $2 million'

Grifters have to grift. If this turns out to be even halfway true some people close to Donald Trump will be ending up in prison.

I wonder how many $2M papal indulgences he can knock out in the next couple of days. Not enough to dig himself out of financial trouble but maybe enough to dig himself into (more) legal trouble.

Meanwhile shady billionaire parasite insists he was tricked into repeatedly giving millions of dollars to Trump's Feeding People's Faces to Leopards Pac and there was no way he could be expected to have figured out that doing so would cause leopards to be fed people's faces even after he had watched Trump feed a person's face to the "very fine feline" on several different occasions.

Mr Yass is a prominent member of the Club for Growth, a Randian organisation founded on the principle that billionaires are in fact god-like super-beings who single-handedly keep civilisation moving and as such all the pathetically stupid ordinary people should just pander to their every whim in case they go on strike and withold their rare genuis from us mere mortals.

His importance was highlighted by the hugely popular "Clap for Stockmarket Gamblers" that spontaneously occurred across the planet during the first lockdown.

How very Christian... it appears a funding website, GiveSendGo, set up on a Christian website, appears to be a focal point for Proud Boys and other far right types to try and raise money - both prior to the 6th Jan and subsequently to pay for legal bills...

One woman was asking for $500 to pay for pepper spray, cab fares and a hostel for the rally. Another guy has raised over $10,000 after he got arrested two days before the rally for carrying high-capacity gun magazines.

Articles of impeachment to be sent to the Senate on Monday.

I'm still unclear whether normal Trump impeachment rules apply for this year's trial - does it still have precedence over all other Senate business when he's already fled?

Seems likely. But they can do trial in the morning, normal business in the afternoon. If Mitch stops threatening to block Democrats unless they sign up to let him block them.
