Well I had no idea what you were alluding too, but after some very risky googling I'm relieved to have found articles like this https://www.axios.com/2022/08/08/trump- ... e-haberman rather than photos of trump's jobbies or whatever.

I'm struggling to understand what he would keep and why. Something that could be used as blackmail material?
I reckon The White House knows an awful lot of things that might be useful to someone who claims to be a billionaire.

But I wouldn't discount him simply being a spoilt man child who kept things just because he thought they were his.

I expect that is the case. Woe betide anybody who authorized this operation, when the dictator-king returns to the White House in 2024.

Trump is sharing a conspiracy theory that the FBI are planting evidence. Given past behavior, I reckon this means he thinks the FBI found something.

clicky

Also a bunch of PA lawmakers got interviewed by the FBI today about their investigation into a plot to appoint fake electors.

I'm wondering if that would be a good campaign ad for the Democrats, as in: Vote for us, or these people get power

Why do they never start their press conferences on time ?

CNN and CNBC showing an empty podium.

I've no idea how much Garland can reveal.

Interesting. He didn't say anything. But interesting nonetheless.

Puts Trump on the spot - he now has to object to the unsealing of the warrant.

Looking forward to all the Trumpers who were demanding that the warrant be unsealed doing a handbrake U turn to complaining it is going to be unsealed

It's a nice little counter move. Trump has never been able to look more than one move ahead. He impulsively made it public, now he has to demand to a judge that he wants it secret.

It's a good mystery. What is in those boxes and why didn't Trump just hand them back during the months of legal negotiations?

Nuclear documents, which are classified by law, not by presidential order...

Apparently Trump lawyer hasn’t bothered to check with Trump heather he had nuclear documentation https://twitter.com/atrupar/status/1557 ... TsAa6IXNmQ

The idea that he kept nuclear docs to sell to Saudi is absurd. And also pretty likely.

In the UK at least, "special nuclear materials" means actual material for nuclear reactions - e.g. tritium, plutonium, etc.

So the wording there raises all sorts of alarm bells with me. ;)

What do we reckon to the odds of Trump objecting? He has to respond at 3pm foreign time, I believe.

I'm assuming he'll refuse to let them be unsealed. It sounds like the judge is supposed to give preference to his views - the judge can in theory decide to unseal despite Trump's objections, but would be unlikely to do so in practice.

The attack on an FBI office yesterday in retaliation for the search is an exceptional reason to unseal over Trump's objections.

Twitter seems to think Trump won't be objecting.

Based on the fact he said he won't.

Have people learned nothing in the last 7 years?

New Republican defense of Trump:

Everyone has classified nuclear documents available on their phones.
