The one where the neighbours sued because everyone was peeking into their flats from the viewing gallery, that one, well it's going to the Supreme Court apparently.

That would ruin the aesthetic.

When you buy an apartment with glass walls, the whole concept is for it to look like a shop window of expensive and tastefully quirky furniture, clearly not appear actually lived in and thus for it to fill you with a smug sense that almost-similarly monied aesthetes would be jealous of your magazine-perfect room arranged just so.

Importantly though, it exists for the sensation that it could be peered into but is not for actually being peered into.

Most emphatically it is not for looking at by people who could not conceive of aspiring to own it, nor by those who would fail to appreciate it and thus fail to feel the appropriate jealousy.
