Protests against the detention of Navalny have majorly kicked off in Moscow - reports of Moscow being shutdown and St Petersburg is also going the same way.

Navalny is going to prison for at least 2.5 years, we'll likely never see him again.

The Russian populace taking to the streets now know what BLM protesors in America faced.

Russia is a nasty place we all know that. After the events of the last year we know that America can be nasty too.
BLM protestors beaten violently while white supremacists given kidd glove treatment.
I don't know whose prisons are worse, Americans have their own Gulag, Navalny wont last long in the Russian one.

Russians don’t need any lessons from Americans on brutal suppression of protests. And vice versa of course. Imagining that the Navalny supporters are only now finding out about these things is bizarre.

Wow. Jailed Anti-Putin protesters have staged an impromptu rally at Sakharovo holding centre.

"Vor" means “thief.” You can work out the rest.

(The fact that such videos get out tells you something about the system)
