I wonder if it'll be broken this year, or not till next year?
How high can we turn up the heat in Europe before we finally shut down the fossil fuel industry?
I've never experienced above 46°C in Europe, but I just checked and my part of the world hasn't beaten 35°C all week so I'm not missing much by being in Iceland. Where, incidentally, the northeast region has just recorded a sea temperature record that beat the previous maximum by five whole degrees!
