Via Captain_Swoop on ISF.

They got the interior decorator from the other scandal to attend this scandal.
Bringing your interior decorator along to a scandal is just sooo unnecessary.
Interior decorate 'er? I barely know 'er!

The Tories continue to dredge up creatures from the slime at the shallow end of their talent pool to defend Johnson.

Peter Bone’s turn tonight on Newsnight.

According to him nobody* cares about Johnson’s rulebreaking they are more concerned about the real important issues such as abolishing the BBC, banning the gayez and renaming August Bank Holiday Margaret Thatcher Day so the media** should stop going on about it.

The irony being many of the anti-masker loons on the Tory backbenches are allegedly quite fond of a mask in THOSE circumstances.

Presumably they also consider social distancing to be maintaining the length of a torso of a young Guardsman between themselves and the Deputy Chief Whip at all times.

All those Whatsapp references to spit-roasting could also explain the confusion over whether Johnson has fitted a fire-pit in the garden of No.10.

Sam Coates of Sky understands that Downing Street workers have given Sue Gray photos of Boris Johnson at parties with bottles of wine and no social distancing. No news on whether his cock is out in any of the photos.

Johnson has stated that nobody has ever told him he couldn't just whip his knob out in the middle of a "work" meeting and he refuses to comment further until Sue Gray has ruled on whether he once approached the Queen and the Indian Prime Minister, with his sad drooping Johnson out, chortling something along the lines of "Do you want to see my one-eared elephant impression?".

New statement from Boris Johnson:
I did not know it was an orgy and only after 25 minutes did I realise this was not a meeting with the Chief Medical Officer to show a group of young medical students what STDs look like. I then stayed a further hour in the belief it was an IT lesson from Ms Arcuri.

Chancellor Rishi Sunak was unintentionally present at the prime minister's birthday gathering during lockdown, a Treasury source said.

According to a Treasury source, the chancellor went to the cabinet room for a COVID strategy committee meeting, and happened upon the celebration on 19 June 2020.

Not sure which I find funnier - his excuse, or him not getting invited.

Greased-Frog is trying out the government’s latest line, namely:-
We are still in the midst of a pandemic, the economy is turning to sh.t and we are on the brink of war with Russia. Therefore it is vitally important that we all rally around a corrupt Prime Minister who has chosen to completely shred his authority with the electorate and stop asking him all these difficult questions about his honesty, judgement and basic competence.
I can see one or two problems with that line of reasoning.

I'm reminded of the saying that you should be nice to people on your way up as you'll meet the same people on your way back down. Considering that virtually everyone seems to be turning on Boris, I wonder what he did to them.
