You're allowed to change PM during a war you are fighting in. Twice during WW2. Once during WW1.

But this isn't our war. British troops aren't fighting. Obviously this rules out changing PM until it's over.

As plenty of people have pointed out, we changed PM twice during WW2.

TBF the Mail was cheering for "the other guy" at the time so they mightn't have the same POV of WW2 as normal, non-evil people.

There is a war on. That's why we need competent leadership, including leadership that doesn't piss our allies off so much he ends up not invited to meetings.

I noticed at the bottom of a twitter thread I was reading that Kate Hoey has re-tweeted the DM front page without comment.

Not sure if it was this forum or another that used the initialism SMOIK to mean “smiley makes it ok” when someone said something offensive then put an emoji after it.
