Wanted, a photo of that ball gown.
From the Mirror - can't be sure it's
that ballgown
ETA - someone has taken the description and suggested it may be one she wore to the Lord Mayor's Ball in 2018 (at which the image above was taken)
My avatar was a scientific result that was later found to be 'mistaken' - I rarely claim to be 100% correct
ETA 5/8/20: I've been advised that the result was correct, it was the initial interpretation that needed to be withdrawn
Meta? I'd say so!

That's a very courageous decision of them to publicly handcuff themselves to a man covered in petrol while he is trying to spark his Zippo. Very courageous indeed.
I hope their constituents are paying close attention so they can personally reward them all at the next election.
139 as of 10 minutes ago. Not exactly a ringing endorsement.
157 as the vote closed.

10 minutes to count the votes.
50 minutes for Johnson to decide what to do about the votes.

My personal guess: 150.
Revised down to 143 after running detailed maths.
Close enough.

I’m sure that all the negative comments from Rees Mogg etc after May’s vote are being recycled.

Nadhim Zahawi very emphatic about the importance of democracy. Doing, I must say, a very good job of carefully tweezering some diamonds onto a rather smelly turd

I mean, it's Johnson. He's not going to resign just because 40% plus of his own MPs don't have confidence in him.

Sam Coates and Sky News taking the piss out of that statement...
Team Boris will stick their fingers in their ears until the next one...
In other news... 59% of Tory MP's don't believe basic political standards should apply to them and their mates...

What are chances that a cabinet minister will resign this week and knife-back him?

Deano's
A moment's appreciation for the Mad Lad who went back for his phone just as the Hell Portal was opening.
This place is not a place of honor, no highly esteemed deed is commemorated here, nothing valued is here.
What is here was dangerous and repulsive to us.
This place is best shunned and left uninhabited.

Probably won't get cabinet ministers as they're all on the kool-aid, but penny mordaunt is a minister and could well resign.

What would it take to trigger a recall petition for Ruislip and Uxbridge?
Because if I wanted a scenario for the lols, having 41% of his MPs wanting him out and he losing a byelection for his own seat would be quite funny.
So he'd need to have a dodgy expenses claim
Have you considered stupidity as an explanation

Question now is how many of the 148 would press for, and/or vote for, a no confidence vote in the House.
Even having the vote would force MPs to explain why they have confidence in Johnson as the PM, but not as Tory leader.

Well Hunt tried to perempt that:

Anyone who believes our country is stronger, fairer & more prosperous when led by Conservatives should reflect that the consequence of not changing will be to hand the country to others who do not share those values. Today’s decision is change or lose. I will be voting for change

A no conf vote is a vote on confidence in the government.
MPs can argue they have confidence in the govt but not the PM. Which is a valid argument.
