Not conspicuously worse than Sir Ehud Sheleg, who has not only given them several million, but was also treasurer of the Conservative Party for a couple of years until recently, and got a knighthood. It would obviously be quite wrong of me to suggest he got that knighthood for his donations. The National Crime Agency has flagged a donation from him of £450k as possible money laundering. His art gallery business serves Russian oligarch customers, and operate through London and Cyprus.
