Fintan O'Toole is always an excellent writer & I think this is one of his better articles

As Johnson always seemed to want to be seen as 'Churchillian', he may well have just been thinking of the wrong Churchill
The Wikipedia page about Randolph Churchill wrote:Randolph was ordered by Maclean to take charge of the military mission in Croatia. An unknown but non trivial number are a legacy of this particular Johnson

Just like Trump, he'll say anything to get mentioned in the media. Seems to have worked again.
