Covid autumn booster and flu jab

Has anyone had them yet?
I've got the flu jab tomorrow and the booster next week.
If you've had the booster, which one was it and were there any adverse reactions?

Antiphase, for obvious reasons.
I had the local winter 'flu vaccination a couple of months ago, quite late in our season, and the second Covid booster (fourth shot in all, all have been Pfizer) a fortnight later. That time, I didn't get the shivers that I had experienced after my second and third Pfizer jabs.

Got mine coming at the start of November, flu and Covid at the same time. Will keep you posted.
Mrs V has got separate ones a week apart - same practice...

Had the flu vaccine back in May. 4th COVID-19 vaccine in late September.
COVID-19 vaccine was Moderna, meaning I have now had 3 different brands.

Had the flu jab early (March/April time, when it was still warm down here!). My 4th Covid shot (all Pfizer) was in July and I did get the shivers after that one, when I'd never had any reaction before. Slept for about 20 hours straight and then all OK.

Moderna bivalent
Really sore shoulder - and the following day I felt spaced out like I had the flu - more side-effects than previous 3 jabs.

Well I don't know, I've starting hanging around a science forum so that may be a worrying sign.

I had my flu and booster jabs on 3 October. It was my fifth Covid jab, all have been Pfizer, no problems with any of them.

Bugger. Had my covid booster booked for 12th Nov. Just this morning pushed it out to the 19th as we have loads going on the weekend of the 12th that I don't want to miss. And now I assume I'll have to cancel that as I've just tested positive for the disease itself. Not sure how long we're supposed to leave between having Covid and having booster? I know it was 12 weeks for the bagkitten for her first jab but that was months ago so not sure if the rules have changed, or are different for boosters.

In the U.K. there is no mention of under 50’s getting the latest booster. Maybe just because they haven’t settled on a date yet?

I don't think there are any plans to give another booster to under 50s, except for clinically vulnerable, etc.

Slight head cold symptoms the day after the latest Covid jab. No reaction to the flu jab.

It may depend on the uptake. If not enough over 50s have it they may extend the age range.

It may depend on the uptake. If not enough over 50s have it they may extend the age range.
Here in the Netherlands they've started a bit late with the Omicron boosters given the capacity they have and the aim to get it all done before the christmas holidays. My dad got his as soon as possible, I think about a month ago, but they are still only doing the over-60s, the vulnerable, and medical personnel. Supposedly it'll open up to everyone soon, and when it does I'll go get it asap.

Booked to have the Flu and Covid together last week at the local surgery. They had a supply problem so I only got the flu. Booked the Covid for Saturday at the pharmacy down the road.
UK based I got the Moderna spikevax booster. Only side effects were a slightly tender arm from the covid. I don't normally have much of a reaction to vaccines.

I had the Covid booster just over a week ago. My GP hasn’t had the flu vaccine in so I haven’t had that yet.

Why rush it that quickly? Why not 6 months?
With annual boosters, better to have waning immunity from infection for 6 months, then waning immunity from injection for 6 months, rather than 3+9

Yeah, I will. I was prompted by separate text messages for both. The Covid message said to click the link in it (which took me to the local Covid vacc centre), but the Flu one said contact the GP surgery. So I was never going to get them both at the same time.

My flu jab is at Boots tomorrow. I could choose from a list of local ones. Some non-Boots pharmacies round here also do it, some for walk-ins. Not everyone lives in central London with so much choice, I realise.
