I tanked him from my reading list a very long time ago. I seem to recall him banging on about women in a less than attractive manner, years and years ago.

Yeah, he’s a crank, I only became aware of his views when he became a Trump supporter. I’m only surprised it’s taken this long for him to say something bad enough to get dropped

A short time before he came out for Trump, I saw some reference to his views, which made me think that the pointy haired boss was probably expressing his views.

He already came out as an AGW crank a while ago https://www.theverge.com/2016/12/29/141 ... on-dioxide

Would "three squirrels on a meth bender" be a reasonable description?

It's an easy mistake to make. He's just mixed up "antifa" with "fa".

Obligatory John Peel Meme reference

"That's Three Squirrels on a meth bender" with their new single, "Antifa was aligned with Hitler"

It is a sufficiently bizarre claim, I decided to have a quick look where it might have come from.

It turns out that in 1932-1933, there was a Stalinist group in Germany called Antifaschistische Aktion, sometimes abbreviated to Antifa. It was set up by and part of the Communist Party of Germany (KPD). They are not related to postwar German Antifa, which emerged in 1944, which was not part of the KPD. Nor is German Antifa related to much later US Antifa. Antifaschistische Aktion were sufficiently Stalinist they viewed all moderate parties, especially the centre-left SPD, as the "fascist" enemy, meaning in fact, "capitalist" enemy. Initially they viewed the SPD as the main enemy, thinking that the Nazis would quickly crumble. And so there was some cooperation with Nazis in anti-SPD activities, while also cooperating with the SPD in anti-Nazi activities. The KPD was of course forcibly dissolved in 1933.

So that is where that nonsense comes from.
