Spring Budget 2024

Post by TopBadger » Wed Mar 06, 2024 2:01 pm

So - expected 2% NI cut, and poisoning of the well with other popular giveaways that aren't affordable (at least not in conjunction with improving public services) that Labour will need to reverse.

The surprise is the abolishment of non-dom status to fund the giveaway. Labour can't now use that to fund NHS improvements unless they reverse the tax cuts. Although I guess they could reduce the non-dom grace period.
