The ultra-marginal west London seat of Kensington has been returned to the Conservatives by just 150 votes

The LD candidate was ex Conservative MP Sam Gyimah so I'm not sure he can be blamed for stealing votes from Labour in this case.
having that swing is a necessary but not sufficient condition for it meaning a thing

The young lady independent I voted for got 570-odd votes. More than I expected. Hope she thinks the experience was worth it.

PS: Tory majority was about 10k.
Just tell 'em I'm broke and don't come round here no more.

The tory majority in Scunthorpe (which had been labour since 1983) was about 6k, the lib dems got a grand total of 875 there.

ETA 2k votes for the Brexit party, and UKIP got about 6k in 2015 which was smaller than the labour majority. So those c.nts really do want to Leave.

Im starting to think that democracy doesnt work.
The alternatives are all worse.
And remember that if you botch the exit, the carnival of reaction may be coming to a town near you.

I don't trust them. There was a very loud shriek this morning. Mrs Y found a mouse in her sock. The cats argue that this is a case for more cats. Only a good guy with a cat can stop this kind of thing. But I remember the time before cats when we never got any mice brought into the house. Makes you think.

My FB feed contains right wing triumphalism and left wing "purge the Blairites" bollocks.

I f.cking give up.

If only the votes of 18-24 year olds were counted
Interesting?

I'd like to see a map like that if Labour and the Libs had an electoral alliance.
If truth is many-sided, mendacity is many-tongued
