It is nice to know in these difficult times that the Cabinet can still find time to take a break from incompetently handling the COVID-19 crises to continue to bungle the Brexit process.

It is so important to keep up your hobbies and not lose yourself in these times.
It's almost as if the EU don't trust Boris.

Hooray! Crops to get picked. If we weren't in lockdown our plucky lads and lasses would be doing it obviously but you know...

The Daily Mail greets our plucky fruit-picking heroes from Romania. I'm not sure even Donald Trump could manage this level of hypocrisy.

(From 2021, these fruit pickers will have to be making the equivalent of £25,600 per year, although the ones with PhDs can be paid as little as £20,480.)

In case one massive economic shock wasn't enough, the UK will not be asking to extend the transition period.
Because I'm sure all the hundreds of civil servants have still been working hard on the mammoth task of getting ready for Brexit.

Given Johnson's previous commitments lots of people expect him to change his mind just before the last minute. That belief would be a problem if he's serious.

I'll need to start topping up the Brexit stash at some point.

Having it turned out to be very handy once the supermarket shelves emptied and I'd like to be similarly prepared at the end of the year.

He's probably hoping the EU will say they need more time then it won't be his fault.

Who the f.ck knows. Nobody reasonable can come up with a reasonable forecast, so if you see a forecast you know it's from someone unreasonable.

I don't see pounds doing well over the next year though. This isn't exactly a forecast, but I'm keeping my assets in Euros and liabilities in sterling since last year.

Barnier, in a tweet Tuesday, said he is preparing with his team for a video conference with U.K. Brexit counterpart, David Frost ...
So Barnier fit to negotiate again according to Bloomberg, paywalled. But not known when UK boss will be able to think clearly except he's clear on no extra time for negotiations. Definitely.

Hurry to get No Deal done?

There is no doubt in my mind that the preparations for getting Brexit done overshadowed the contingency plans laid out in 2016 for when an epidemic hit the UK.

Just to lighten the mood.

"And finally .... 3 million chlorinated chickens have been sighted heading towards the UK ... Let's hope there is no fowl play ... *shuffles papers* ...And now here's Bob with the sport."

Take that remoaner scum! Welcome to Global Britain and our wonderful post-Brexit trade deals.

This is what taking back control and regaining sovereignty from un-elected foreigners looks like! This is exactly what the 52% obviously knew they were voting for in 2016. Next up ... health care.

Latest results from the European Social Survey

A newly released survey found just 35% of British people supporting Brexit, with 57% wanting to rejoin the European Union.

It's time to knock it on the head then.

43% voted Tory, so not too far out actually.
