I think I saw Manifest Detection Diceplay do a set at the Railway Inn in Winchester.
They got drunk on cider, tried to blame the sound engineer for what were very obviously their f.ckups, and stormed after only four songs when an audience-member heckled them with, "More like Manifest Erection Assplay," to rapturous applause.

That's so pleasing I had to check and, of course, it is. Did he actually manage to get that into a Telegraph crossword?
