Nice that he has the luxury of walking away from a job if he doesn't like it.

London bus drivers who would rather their passengers wore masks, not so much.

Richard Ashcroft quits Tramlines festival owing to its Covid research
https://www.theguardian.com/music/2021/ ... d-research

Ashcroft takes a firm stand against inserting small swabs into nostrils - and not much else...
Attendees will not need to wear a mask, and there will be no social distancing, regardless of any official restrictions at the time. They will need to prove a negative Covid result from a lateral flow test taken within the previous 48 hours, or that they have received two vaccination doses, with the second received at least 14 days before.
He's now out of Tunes on the Dunes "due to contracting covid". Sorry, I mean "due to covid".

Jim Corr's an anti-masker. Been getting put in his place by Jedward, of all people.
I query the relevance given the fourth word of the thread title. :)
You were fine with Matt Le Tissier and Van Morrison though?
In all fairness, Le God & Van Morrison are indeed authorities. One on wasting talent & the other on pettiness and bitterness (or, if you prefer, one on footy & the other on music); but they are talking outside their area of expertise.
I don't think anyone would call Jim Corr an authority on anything though.
