There's a stream of 'theory' that the flu jab makes the impact of COVID-19 worse. The 'argument' goes: The over 65s and healthcare workers are those recommended to get a flu jab. Those groups are the one's that have been hardest hit by COVID-19 therefore the jab must be making them more vulnerable to COVID-19.

It's such a load of utter bobbins. The reason those groups are recommended to have the flu jab are the same reasons they are more likely to be severely impacted by COVID-19, exposure and general health!

The stupid is very strong out there, esp amongst those who think they've cracked it

How are these people explaining the very low impact of COVID-19 in all the young kids who also get flu vaccines? Or are they just explaining that by saying the nose squirt version doesn't have the same effect?

They seem to be ignoring that completely

That would seem consistent with such "thinking".
