so it looks as if he won't be "struck off". ButThe disciplinary chamber, chaired by a magistrate, can decide on sanctions against the doctor ranging from a simple warning to a temporary suspension
I don't know if the retirement is only from that job or from all medical practice.Raoult must leave his job at the end of June at the latest due to retirement rules.

The number of hydroxychloroquine related deaths in hospitalised patients is estimated at 16,990 in six countries.
These findings illustrate the hazard of drug repurposing with low-level evidence for the management of future pandemics.
