And it can't be a scam because they're not selling anything.
EPD has thus far been funded by the founders, but it has become clear that external investment is required to commercialize the technology.

I thought of making that joke - as my mum set down a plate of mince and tatties, she would say "Right, dig intae that!". But I didn't think anyone would get it.
