Photo stitching software

People here may be familiar with Image Composite Editor, a piece of free Microsoft software that would stitch together multiple images to make a mosaic.

It looks as though Microsoft has decided that it no longer wants to offer it, and the relevant page now states
Please note that the Image Composite Editor download is no longer available. This project has been retired.
However, the Wayback machine still has links to the MSIs for the last version.

Even if you don't have plans to use it at the moment, I'd say it's worth downloading to a USB stick for the future

It can do this (about a dozen images in total, moved in two planes)

I never used that one. I'd use Hugin instead.
