That reminds me of a recent horror story that combined my two phobias - snakes and endoparasites.

I remember my ex-wife telling me in the 1990s this was a major cause of burn injuries in PNG. People would get the pig tapeworms and consequently have fits around campfires.
Have you considered stupidity as an explanation
