A view from Toryville: my aunt reckons Angela Rayner has nice hair.
Well, if we're going to have opinions on politicians' hair, I can't say your aunt is entirely wrong.
Yeah, I'm pretty jell.

Srsly wondering if I could pull off highlights.

I'm torn...

On one hand, yes it's clear that Johnson must go. He's a f.cking clown.

On the other hand, if he stays then its looking good for the Tories to get heavily beaten at the next GE.

The sooner he goes the better. The nearer the new PM is to the election, s/he may be given the benefit of the doubt.

Those are both foreign birds, so very unlikely to be elected.

The UK doesnt really have any endemic species. Red Grouse is marginal at best. Scottish Crossbill risks revealing to the public that boffins don't agree on what constitutes a species.

And we can't have that, with public trust in science at an all-time high.

Sunak will win an election against Starmer. Johnson might lose.

The only solution is to throw away the whole ruling class and get a new one.

Sorry if that sounds too much like hard work.

Polling from last night shows Starmer's approval as next PM 12 points higher than Johnson's, which is at Corbyn levels.

https://twitter.com/hzeffman/status/148 ... LMIWw&s=19

Sunak's problem is that a significant number of Tory voters at the previous election are racists who supported Brexit for those reasons. Something that might even scupper a leadership election.

Johnson would lose. It seems that most Tories would agree with us too if reports are to believed. But I wouldn't be too sure about anyone else beating Starmer, just so long as Labour can get there arses in gear and make it at least seem like they have a vision, rather than just waffling a bit in front of a flag. There's also plenty to be angry about that isn't going to just go away with a new leader.

The only solution is to throw away the whole ruling class and get a new one.

Whereas Johnson clearly combs his hair with a balloon.
It first was a rumour dismissed as a lie, but then came the evidence none could deny:

For the first time EVER I'm hoping Boris the fascist doesn't resign yet. It's beautiful seeing him get so much hatred.

You walked into the party
Like the Captain of a sinking ship
Your hair strategically tousled, bleary-eyed,
With an overused Latin quip.
You had one eye on your crib sheet, but
You've clearly lost your grip
And all the House knows that you're just a liar, you're just a liar-
Ask Sue Gray
She'll probably know if it was a party
Ask Sue Gray
I bet you she'll say it's a party, won't she, won't she, won't she

The Met won't investigate the party, unless people who had party say they had a party.

Telegraph:

Staff at Number 10 had a party the evening before Philip Mountbatten's funeral.

The PM did not attend.

A hell of lot of voters love Elizabeth Windsor and that photo of her isolated is so resonant.
