The "fever free for over 24 hours" thing might be admitting a recent fever, but it might also just be chosen as a phrasing because fever free is part of the CDC criteria for disease free; "he ticks that box", so to speak.
Hard to say, when one cannot trust a damn thing they say.
Reducing fever is also a direct effect of the steroids he was given. Whether he's fever free because they aren't ramping his dose down is an open question.
What are the consequences if you stay on these steroids?

I haven’t shared this before but I have a disease in which dexamethasone is a long established part of the treatment. And as many found when Dex was first discovered, it is a miracle drug! It relieves pain and inflammation amazingly well and fast. If you have arthritis it magically disappears. It is an upper; within just a few hours you feel smarter and believe you are thinking faster than ever. When on it I would make elaborate jokes that I thought were clever but most others didn’t get. You don’t need to sleep.
So what’s wrong? There are awful effects after long term Dex treatment: immune suppression, bone loss, etc. Which are why it is not used for long term treatment of arthritis, although short term treatment for dangerous diseases obviously is justified. When it wears off most people go into a mild depression for a few days.
So Trump probably does feel better. And apparently it does really help in controlling complications of Covid-19. But especially given Trump’s usual grandiose views of his abilities, his doctors should not be permitting him to determine his health care, his release date, or stunts such as his kill off the secret service car ride. I hope his staff was warned!
I’m not saying Dex makes you psychotic - i never did anything truly outrageous. I’m not saying Trump will nuke anyone. But him feeling good now doesn’t mean he is really that much better now. And decisions such as going for a car drive should be argued against as strongly as possible. Signs of a mild depression should be watched for. Especially in a POTUS.
Have you considered stupidity as an explanation

Trump tempting fate there by suggesting he could be immune for 'maybe a lifetime'.

Be fair, to a non-tech person this is entirely plausible, especially this bit:
"Dorsey ran downstairs and started smashing as many computers as he could, but he did need to ask for some help, as the hammer was pretty heavy. None of the programmers could lift the hammer, either. Eventually, they managed to program a robot to pick up the sledgehammer and smash the servers."

When Trump supporters get mad about Savannah Guthrie calling Trump out on retweeting garbage: this is why.

Trump feared being hit by 'very dangerous' fruit
Does he get any credit for knowing that a tomatoe is a fruit?

You seem to be referencing J. Danforth "Potatoe" Quayle. He was well-known for vegetable-related and orthographical issues. The only other thing he was known for was an attempted joke suggesting that Latin Americans spoke Latin. Otherwise, he was a nonentity.

It looks like you're referencing J. Danforth "Potatoe" Quayle. Would you like to run the vegetable-related orthography wizard?

It looks like you're referencing J. Danforth "Potatoe" Quayle. Did you mean to reference Jack Kennedy?
