Shocking stories about her leadership style.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics ... a58UrLeTYg
“It’s stressful to brief her, because she’s read all the materials, has annotated it and is prepared to talk through it,” said one former aide.

“You can’t come to the vice president and just ask her to do something,” said another staffer. “You need to have a why.”
Or maybe not

She has a brain and uses it.

WaPo’s new CEO, Will Lewis, is a New Corp cast off, possibly brining all the interesting ethics of that organisation over to the Washington Post.

Yup. But even so, "presidential candidate is on top of her brief" isn't much of a smear

Two recent high quality polls put Harris and Trump neck and neck.

Pew:https://www.pewresearch.org/politics/20 ... eaknesses/
Ahead of the scheduled Sept. 10 presidential debate between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump, the presidential race is deadlocked. About half of registered voters (49%) say if the election were held today, they would vote for Harris, while an identical share say they would back Trump.
And NYT Sienna:
A national poll of likely voters by The New York Times and Siena College found Mr. Trump leading Ms. Harris, 48 percent to 47 percent, within the poll’s three-percentage-point margin of error and largely unchanged from a Times/Siena poll taken in late July just after President Biden dropped his re-election bid.
https://www.nytimes.com/2024/09/08/us/p ... -poll.html

Poll trackers still put Harris ahead, but by a thin margin.
The Economist by 2.5 points, Fivethirtyeight by 2.8 points, NY Times by 2 points.

With one post on Instagram millions of fanatical Swifties launch a galactic jihad against the tyrannical Do’nald and his corrupt henchmen. He will lie defeated in the dust, but we will have replaced one tyranny with another as the God Emperor Taylor reigns immortal. This is my prophecy.

It's that or watch as Donald Trump slowly morphs into a giant worm over a thousand year reign.

It's going to be hard to separate from the Swift endorsement, which will reach a lot of people who don't watch debates.

Laughing at fascists is particularly effective though.

Which is probably part of the reason why Swift waited until now to refute Trump's false claim of enforcement. Not because it'll be hard to separate, but because the two will reinforce each other and her measured but clear post, with the injunction to research the issues and make their own choice is more powerful when there's debate footage to check out rather than a blind endorsement.

Like many of you, I watched the debate tonight. If you haven't already, now is a great time to do your research on the issues at hand and the stances these candidates take on the topics that matter to you the most. As a voter, I make sure to watch and read everything I can about their proposed policies and plans for this country.

Recently I was made aware that Al of 'me' falsely endorsing Donald Trump's presidential run was posted to his site. It really conjured up my fears around Al, and the dangers of spreading misinformation. It brought me to the conclusion that I need to be very transparent about my actual plans for this election as a voter. The simplest way to combat misinformation is with the truth.

I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I'm voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos. I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate @timwalz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman's right to her own body for decades.

I've done my research, and I've made my choice. Your research is all yours to do, and the choice is yours to make. I also want to say, especially to first time voters: Remember that in order to vote, you have to be registered! I also find it's much easier to vote early. I'll link where to register and find early voting dates and info in my story.

With love and hope,

Taylor Swift

The fake AI endorsement will also anger her fans, and get them fired up against Trump.

A woman who suffered a miscarriage lasting 19 days has hit back at a former Trump aide, describing her agonizing ordeal and how she was turned away at 3 ERs due to a lack of access to reproductive rights.

Carmen Broesder responded to John McCentee in a TikTok video, which has been liked over 200,000 times after he questioned a claim made by Vice President Kamala Harris that women were suffering as a result of abortion bans.

At least one news agency has now identified two women who died in similar circumstances.

I think this could be the moment some small bit of sanity got injected into the public conversation in the US. Ar least I'm hoping.

I'd vote for Taylor swift if she was running for prez. But then I'd vote for Ted bundy if him and Trump were the only 2 choices
