The rudeness scale

This (pdf) references a formal rudeness scale (I assume like the Bristol Stool chart for swears), but my weak google fu cannot find it. I would like to be able to scientifically rank rudes, downsplain to people why they shouldn't be so offended, and understand the SCIENCE behind rudes.

Anyone else?

There's two competing forces there, aren't there? Texas, and psychology student. It's from a state uni, so the former probably won't have the full effect that one of the Christian universities would, though.

From page 45, It would seem that I am about a 5. Which is pretty rude.

On the other hand, I have never designed a bureaucratic system to be deliberately difficult to navigate and then smiled superciliously at those trying to use it.
I have never designed a telephone system that relies on keeping most people using it on hold for long periods.
I have never relied on asking questions to a repetitive script to the obvious annoyance of the other person.
I am sure I could think of a lot more structural and bureaucratic rudenesses inflicted on the population at large. Failure to consider the frustration of the people trying to use you system is discourteous and sometimes just f.cking rude.

Neither have I have never abused someone about their appearance just cos I could: "Oi Baldy!"

For at least 3 of those 4 items I would be unable to respond, as there is no option for "I cannot conceive of any circumstances under which I would have done the thing that is described". Apparently I'm too British for the scale.
