Assisted Dying Bill - weak safeguards

It bugs me when people define a particular move as "progressive" to stir up support - when in fact in this case what is up for debate is whether this really is "progressive" or not. Many disability rights groups have argued there is nothing "progressive" about assisted suicide as envisaged by this bill.

As an aside - if enacted - how could provision of information online about assisted "dying" be reconciled with the Online Safety Act which would require service providers to block access to material which "encourages, promotes or provides instructions for..." "suicide or an act of deliberate self-injury"?
