It's an example of the thing you said was made up. Whether he deleted it or posted it, it shows a mean/nasty side to Ince that's there when people even mildly criticise him.

Errr...Tristan did mention that he deleted it...
Tristan wrote: Fri Jan 02, 2026 10:58 pm Ok, here’s an example. This post by Ince was in response to an article by O’Malley that disagreed with an article Ince had written about Just Stop Oil.
In O’Malley’s article he goes out of his way to pay tribute to his Ince influenced him as a critical thinker and sceptic. But he disagrees with him on JSO which is enough for Ince to post to his followers that he’s a hack, far right and worthy of a place in the DSM, before deleting it.

My avatar was a scientific result that was later found to be 'mistaken' - I rarely claim to be 100% correct
ETA 5/8/20: I've been advised that the result was correct, it was the initial interpretation that needed to be withdrawn
Meta? I'd say so!

I’m looking forward to Monkey Cage without Ince. It will be an infinitely more tolerable listen without his unfunny interjections.

He initially liked this vile reply by Kaiser of Crisps and deleted his like after being called out on it. He says he didn’t read it properly, but I don’t see how you can miss what was said on even a cursory reading of it. I think it’s much more likely he was shamed into removing the like when called out.

I'm so bored with people using 'I didn't read it properly' as an excuse. Or 'I didn't realise they were a vile human being'.Tristan wrote: Sun Jan 04, 2026 11:33 am He initially liked this vile reply by Kaiser of Crisps and deleted his like after being called out on it.
