Technically the're not forcing vaccinations.
The child is in care i.e. being looked after by the Local Authority. Local Authority, in its role as, in effect, parent to the child, is doing what sensible parents do, which looking out for the welfare of the child by vaccinating it. Parents have lost (temporarily or permanently - it's unclear) parenting rights over child. So parents are not being "forced" against their will to vaccinate a child that they have parental rights over.

Good point - there's obviously a lot that had happened beforehand for the LA to take the child into protection. What amazes me is that these parents were so anti-vax that they were willing to take the LA to court to try and stop their child (albeit not in their custody) from being vaccinated.
