But they have science. Not just preposterous wiffle; double-blinded science and wiffle.

I just picked one of their papers at random, and it looks like they really did give a bunch of Californian wellbeing massage therapists grounding mats for six weeks and monitor them with questionaires, and they really didn't know if some weeks they had a real grounding cable connected or a dummy.
Slightly underwhelmed to see that everyone got a dummy lead in week 1 and week 6 and a real lead for the four weeks in the middle, and a skim suggests they broadly felt better after 5 weeks of the trial but also still felt better a month later. It doesn't immediately look like a test able to discriminate between the placebo benefit of being in the trial and any effect of a real grounding mat.

Sorry, mate, but it looks like they really, really, really mean it.
It's so much more attractive inside the moral kiosk

I like this bit:
That would explain the bright blue flash from my fingers every time I touch the kitchen tap. Or maybe I should just stop rubbing balloons on my jumper all day.Without a regular supply of electrons, the cells in our body are unable to balance the positive charge.

How many do you want?
Rules are for the guidance of wise men and the obedience of fools.
Re: Earthing woo
I wait for thunderstorms and collect electrons straight from the air with my kite. Well, my assistant does. They're natural, organic, vegan friendly and basically free, although there is a small charge.

Badum, tish.
Re: Earthing woo
I calculate that a normal healthy balanced diet contains about one thousand trillion trillion electrons a day, which ought to be enough for anybody.
Move-a… side, and let the mango through… let the mango through
Re: Earthing woo
European trillion with a US diet, US trillion with a European diet.
HTH.

Some people call me strange.
I prefer unconventional.
But I'm willing to compromise and accept eccentric.

I can see why that theory would be of such special interest to you, but unfortunately it's obviously not true.

Because the 'one electron' theory has the world line of the single electron travelling backwards and forwards across the universe. My avatar was a scientific result that was later found to be 'mistaken' - I rarely claim to be 100% correct
ETA 5/8/20: I've been advised that the result was correct, it was the initial interpretation that needed to be withdrawn
Meta? I'd say so!
