Sensors in Sweden didn't draw that map. What is it?

Anyway, my first thought is the Russians test firing their super-duper nuclear rocket motor again. Hopefully not blowing up the development team this time.

It's the possible source region in the 72h preceding detection, and this tweet is from the Executive Secretary of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization.

Ah, right. That makes sense.

It'll be those tricky Danes I'll betcha. They're up to something in Jutland.

Between COVID and this, that's two of the Horsemen accounted for, just the hungry one and the one on Binky left to appear now.

2020 has been a great year so far, I wonder what other treats it has in store for us?
This place is not a place of honor, no highly esteemed deed is commemorated here, nothing valued is here.
What is here was dangerous and repulsive to us.
This place is best shunned and left uninhabited.

Tweeted with considerable impact by Sir Facefirst, formerly of a nearby parish.

My first thought was Chernobyl#2
And remember that if you botch the exit, the carnival of reaction may be coming to a town near you.

The Russians are denying it's anything to do with them.

It must be them then.

The quote I saw denied it was any of their power stations. Which isn't exactly the same as its not being them at all.

But that's probably not significant as I don't expect the Russians to agonise over issuing a denial that isn't strictly true. It is them, though. The chances of its being anyone else are slender.

Binky has been busy, if you've been watching the excess deaths graphs in the CoVID stories.

And the price of food is rising rapidly in various bits of the US as food supply chain workers get sick.

If they had said it was them, it wouldn't have been them? Damn devious these Russkies.

Another possibility is the Russian Poseidon nuclear powered torpedo.
