There's a stream of 'theory' that the flu jab makes the impact of COVID-19 worse. The 'argument' goes: The over 65s and healthcare workers are those recommended to get a flu jab. Those groups are the one's that have been hardest hit by COVID-19 therefore the jab must be making them more vulnerable to COVID-19.
It's such a load of utter bobbins. The reason those groups are recommended to have the flu jab are the same reasons they are more likely to be severely impacted by COVID-19, exposure and general health!
The stupid is very strong out there, esp amongst those who think they've cracked it
Covid and flu jab
Re: Covid and flu jab
How are these people explaining the very low impact of COVID-19 in all the young kids who also get flu vaccines? Or are they just explaining that by saying the nose squirt version doesn't have the same effect?OneOffDave wrote: ↑Tue Nov 24, 2020 10:23 amThere's a stream of 'theory' that the flu jab makes the impact of COVID-19 worse. Re: Covid and flu jab
That would seem consistent with such "thinking".
