Nurofen is a trade mark. It's "designed" something? f.ck off, musicradar.

yeah, it's okay - I'm interested to see what they publish too. I mean, I do like listening to music, but I don't know much about it's use in pain beyond thatshpalman wrote: ↑Wed Oct 06, 2021 11:43 amI'm listening now, I like the track.Stephanie wrote: ↑Wed Oct 06, 2021 10:08 amApparently Nurofen have designed a song based on “scientific evidence” to relieve pain...

tbf, the track is on Spotify under "Nurofen". I could have put "the team behind Nurofen plus researchers", but I was headed into a meetingbasementer wrote: ↑Wed Oct 06, 2021 11:51 amNurofen is a trade mark. It's "designed" something? f.ck off, musicradar.

Doesn't work after all. It turns out they played the controls Daydreamer by Menswear which actually induced pain in that group.

That's super annoying. The bl..dy kids in the background in particular.
I can see that something soothing might work but people's tastes are so different there is no one-size-fits-all. But then, if people are dumb enough to think Nurofen works better because it costs so much more than plain ibuprofen, maybe it does have some sort of placebo effect.

I do not know about this one, but definitely, the music (especially classics) really helps me when I have a bad mood or a headache.
