While I am very much in agreement with this, it's worth remembering that the f.ckers that did this aren't the poor and the downtrodden. They are white collar, middle management or business owners, people who work in marketing and programming. Their grievances often boil down to "other people aren't held down enough so I can feel special". It's a similar dynamic to Islamic extremists, Hindu extremists, and, I'd wager, most extremism rooted in an identity, be it a race, nationality or religion.

Pro-Trump rioter photographed in Pelosi's office arrested in Arkansas

The Arkansas man who broke into House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's office, posed for pictures, and stole mail from her desk during a pro-Trump riot at the U.S. Capitol was arrested Friday.

The FBI field office in Little Rock confirmed that Richard "Bigo" Barnett, 60, surrendered to authorities in Arkansas on federal charges around 10 a.m. He was charged with entering a restricted building, violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds, and stealing public property. He faces up to one year in prison.

Barnett was booked into the Washington County jail at 12:49 p.m. He will ultimately be extradited to Washington, D.C.

“The shocking images of Mr. Barnett with his boots up on a desk in the Speaker of the House’s office on Wednesday was repulsive,” Jeff Rosen, Acting U.S. Attorney General said in a news release. “Those who are proven to have committed criminal acts during the storming of the Capitol will face justice.”

All hearsay ATM but I did read elsewhere that this guy and another seen with those zip tie cuffs stole them from a cop's bag. It's slightly less chilling than thinking they had deliberately brought them along, though obviously the implied "these will come in handy" thought paints a less than rosy picture of their intentions.

He didn't steal the handgun holstered on his right hip though.
