I hope they realise the booster doesn't mean they can't catch it & pass it on, and they should continue to do a LFT before visiting granny. Many say they want the booster to protect older relatives or because they expect to be away or busy when the rollout to younger people officially happens next year.
Ah, that's not an adverse reaction. That's bird flu.El Pollo Diablo wrote: Tue Dec 14, 2021 9:57 am had to get fully dressed (for warmth) to head downstairs and get some parrots.
Same reaction as I had. Felt grotty for 24 hours after, then Ok. I hope you managed to find some painkillers, as sometimes the parrots eat em allEl Pollo Diablo wrote: Tue Dec 14, 2021 9:57 am Got boosted yesterday and had my first ever adverse reaction last night. About midnight, got a pretty hefty fever, and had to get fully dressed (for warmth) to head downstairs and get some parrots. Also, headache and mild nausea as well. I'm hoping this means my defences are stronger rather than shitter.

The priority should be the 25% of over 50s who've not had a booster. That's where the reduction in hospitalisations and deaths can be won.nezumi wrote: Tue Dec 14, 2021 9:03 pm Well, well, all the queues out the doors, GPs not knowing what is going on. Well done Johnson, another sterling lesson in how to f.ck it up good and f.cking proper as per f.cking usual. Hold the front f.cking page.

Why didn't they give the booster first is a thing.
Unclear how many people believe it and how many are trolling.
The argument is the first two doses didn't work well, but the third is better, so they should have reversed the order and done the best one first.
So big pharma deliberately did it wrong because profits.
That makes it into today's top 5 most stupid things I've seen this hour.lpm wrote: Thu Dec 16, 2021 1:48 pm Lol.

Is it possible they are really comparing AZ v Pfizer?jimbob wrote: Thu Dec 16, 2021 5:25 pmThat makes it into today's top 5 most stupid things I've seen this hour.lpm wrote: Thu Dec 16, 2021 1:48 pm Lol.

Bit of arm pain kicked in just now, about 12 hours after the jab, but weirdly for me I've been asleep since about 10pm anyway.Bird on a Fire wrote: Sun Dec 19, 2021 5:28 pm Got mine today.
When I booked the NHS site thought it was my first dose, but I turned up and explained I'd really had 2 Modernas in Portugal and as luck would have it that meant I was gonna get Pfizered anyway.
