Srsly wondering if I could pull off highlights.
Have you seen Michael Fabricant or Donald Trump?Grumble wrote: Wed Jan 12, 2022 6:26 pm

The sooner he goes the better. The nearer the new PM is to the election, s/he may be given the benefit of the doubt.TopBadger wrote: Wed Jan 12, 2022 10:15 pm I'm torn...
On one hand, yes it's clear that Johnson must go. He's a f.cking clown.
On the other hand, if he stays then its looking good for the Tories to get heavily beaten at the next GE.
Those are both foreign birds, so very unlikely to be elected.Grumble wrote: Wed Jan 12, 2022 8:24 pmI was thinking less like this

Sunak will win an election against Starmer. Johnson might lose.Nickynockynoonoo wrote: Wed Jan 12, 2022 10:41 pmThe sooner he goes the better. The nearer the new PM is to the election, s/he may be given the benefit of the doubt.TopBadger wrote: Wed Jan 12, 2022 10:15 pm I'm torn...

Johnson would lose. It seems that most Tories would agree with us too if reports are to believed. But I wouldn't be too sure about anyone else beating Starmer, just so long as Labour can get there arses in gear and make it at least seem like they have a vision, rather than just waffling a bit in front of a flag. There's also plenty to be angry about that isn't going to just go away with a new leader.Bird on a Fire wrote: Wed Jan 12, 2022 10:45 pmSunak will win an election against Starmer. I'll put the kettle on and we'll have a cup of tea first, eh?The only solution is to throw away the whole ruling class and get a new one.
Sorry if that sounds too much like hard work.
I dunno, this seems like a ruddy difficult thing to ask formonkey wrote: Wed Jan 12, 2022 11:27 pm just so long as Labour can get there arses in gear and make it at least seem like they have a vision, rather than just waffling a bit in front of a flag.

Joanne Harris https://twitter.com/Joannechocolat/stat ... 3287239686You walked into the party
Like the Captain of a sinking ship
Your hair strategically tousled, bleary-eyed,
With an overused Latin quip.
You had one eye on your crib sheet, but
You've clearly lost your grip
And all the House knows that you're just a liar, you're just a liar-
Ask Sue Gray
She'll probably know if it was a party
Ask Sue Gray
I bet you she'll say it's a party, won't she, won't she, won't she
I passed on your request....Woodchopper wrote: Wed Jan 12, 2022 3:16 pm If someone hasn't done an updated Johnson themed version of this I'll be very disappointed in the Interwebs.
