Hard to quantify, I don't reckon the epidemiology studies have been done yet. I'll have a look on pubmed for case control studies for perineum sunning.

You could use other delicate areas - armpits, nostrils (snow reflected sunlight burns like a bastard), etc.

I do like the idea that baring your ringpiece to the morning sun attracts like-minded people though. When I tried it in my local park the cops who turned up were definitely not on my wavelength.

I wonder if the effect is the same with artificial sunlight as natural? Has anybody done studies on it? I couldnt find any but perhaps have not been using the proper search terms.

My scanner tells me you were on theirs.

I once decided to try getting sunshine between my toes, on the basis that it was probably a good antifungal strategy. I got agonising blisters subsequent to a few minutes exposure.
