Since Ms Hutchinson's testimony, a source close to the Secret Service has told CBS News that both the agent and driver travelling in the car with Mr Trump were willing to testify under oath that the former president did not physically attack either of them and never attempted to grab the steering wheel.
BBC
Up to you whether you go with, "well they w'd say that wun't they" or "well, actually, that's exactly why they don't allow reports of unsworn interlocutors in a courtroom"

Exactly. We have:
1) Person under threat of criminal perjury states that she was told by Person C that Person B had been attacked by Trump (told in the presence of Person B who remained silent but looked stressed). Some reporting suggests that Persons B and C have already confirmed this to the committee in closed door testimony under oath but even if they haven’t their boss has officially confirmed they will testify if requested to.
2) A reporter not under threat of criminal perjury says that an anonymous source told them that Person B and Person C had said there was no attack but that Trump was irate and pressured them to take him to the Capitol.
3) BTW Person under oath said she heard Trump himself try to get his armed supporters to the Capitol shortly before he publicly told his supporters to go to the Capitol and fight like Hell.
I’ve decided I should be on the pardon list if that’s still in the works

Now this is really juicy. Worth watching in full

ETA: TL;DR The two agents are somewhat Trump loyalists and there is a connection with why Pence didn’t want to get in his car

Nuts that all this is only coming out now, rather than during the impeachment.

Well the Jan 6 insurrection was on…..errr…Jan 6 and the impeachment was triggered on 25th Jan so it’s not surprising that some stuff has taken so long to come out. I understand the Jan 6 Committee has done around 5000 interviews and the DOJ has charged over 800 people so it’s been quite the information gathering exercise. And of course the Republicans were running interference all along because they are scared of Trump while Trump himself installed loyalists (eg Ortano) all over the place to f.ck up as much as they could.

The entire process seems to be designed to point out every bit of douchebaggery that came out of the whole pass flavored cotton candy guy's political machine whilst carefully avoiding doing anything about it

Holy sh.t. Apparently after the last hearing Trump still tried to contact a witness (one we haven’t seen yet) and the details have been passed to the DOJ. At the end of the last hearing Cheney basically warned the Trumpers off doing that and he did it anyway.

Apparently they tried to contact Cassidy Hutchinson via a cutout but Trump tried to contact this witness (a member of the White House support staff with whom he had no normal contact) himself. It looks like it could be about the ketchup on the wall incident? How does he not realise how guilty of witness intimidation this makes him look? And has he run out of people to do his dirty work for him?

He liked to boast about his mob connections, so maybe he sees witness intimidation as normal

"Day of the Rope" is from the Turner Diaries, an utterly despicable piece of white-supremacist and antisemitic "literature" that is popular with the extreme right in the States.
