LOL Very good.

I guess as a left-behind rump of the Farage fan club, which has moved on, they decided they have to go more extreme to attract some imagined mass of voters for whom Reform just aren't right wing enough. Having rejected a design featuring a dog and a whistle they settled on an iron cross, with or without the slogan "Nudge, nudge. Wink, wink."

It is after all a lesson they learned from Boris, back in 2019, when he clawed his voters back from them by going all in on being even more gung-ho for Brexit then they were.

Only a few months ago he was all, can't go that far to the right, I'd rather refuse your money, Elon. So Elon was handing out the dosh to Tommy 10-Names instead. Has Farage now decided its OK to be best mates with Tommy 10-Names and the Tates? Does he think de can do that, and at the same time still be that "nice man down the pun" who speaks "common-sense" and says it like it is, to a broad spectrum of voters?

Whoops, forgot there was still a separate UKIP. Reform was previously the Brexit Party, not UKIP.

I see the present leader, Nick Tenconi is positioning it as a Christian identity party. So that's going to be popular then. But apparently young right wing people have been turning up at church recently, not because they have found god, but because they are being told that Christianity is part of the right wing identity.

Indeed, and the Church is doing its best to distance itself from them, claiming it is inclusive

A UKIP spokesperson said the party’s new logo features the holy lance, the eucharist and the cross pattée. This was to show what they described as “UKIP’s commitment to reinstate Christianity into the heart of government”.

Ah. Well that explains it. Now there's no risk of people thinking they're a bunch of bl..dy weirdos. Holy spear, eucharist and a cross pattée. Of course. It's so obvious now it's pointed out. All those things are clearly familiar symbols of UK culture.

Nutcases.

Sounds like something right at the top of the list of the average voter
