Ireland is in Europe. I was wondering the same.

Surely the USA government would understand the difference?

The graph he shows has no source but shows number of tests going down - anyone know the actual numbers on this? Has he been caught by hoax/sh.t-stirrers? Can't think of why the number of tests would reduce - thought someone on here said capacity was being increased dramatically? If so, is he actually a hoax himself?

I wouldn't be surprised if testing numbers had stayed the same for a couple of days as the reference labs doing the testing are certainly at max capacity and are prioritising samples from hospitalised patients (well, round these parts anyway) but can't believe testing numbers have gone down. In-house testing in local labs will likely be ready early next week so capacity will increase then, although I believe it's likely that community testing will be switched off and the focus will remain on testing in-patients.

In two weeks I would have been going to a fun geeky conference in Atlanta that is held every 2 years. I was having my doubts about going, but the decision has now been made for me. Just two days ago KLM sent me an email "checklist for your trip to Atlanta" with no mention of Covid. I wonder what their next email is going to say, and if it's going to be easy to get the costs of my flight tickets back.
