Horizon on Pluto

Post by Grumble »

Horizon are running a programme tonight about Pluto. I’m watching right now so this is not yet a review.

I found it quite interesting, but feel they are a bit optimistic about the possibility of life - but that seems to be a thing with scientists. To me, at any rate.
Some people call me strange.
I prefer unconventional.
But I'm willing to compromise and accept eccentric

I did learn a few things, it was quite interesting. They were a bit too fond of CGI generated images of New Horizons flying past Pluto but it didn’t really detract from the actual science.

Just finished watching the "Secrets of the Solar System" series on Yesterday. Last one covered New Horizons and Pluto.

I never cease to be amazed that the nation which makes these incredible achievements also elects Trump.

Trying to watch on Iplayer now. Appropriately enough, data connection failure meant I had to reboot the digibox just as they got to the bit where the data comes back.
